Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties to

Demonstrate Stimulus Weatherization Funds at Work on Multi-family Residence in St. Paul

WHO: Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties,

Congresswoman Betty McCollum, Senator Ellen Anderson, and Mayor Christopher Coleman

WHAT: As we ramp up to infuse over $12 million of residential weatherization improvements into Ramsey and Washington counties, we’ve selected a rental four-plex unit to help demonstrate and celebrate the benefits of this initiative – creating jobs, cutting energy costs for working class people, helping the environment and improving the economy.

Tours will be given of the work in progress.

WHY: The special stimulus funding will permit Community Action to weatherize 1,726 homes. That’s 391% more houses than Community Action did last year!
